Denver Health is a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma center dedicated to excellence in trauma care, education, and research. The Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship is sponsored by Allegheny General Hospital and has a longstanding tradition of excellence in both fellow education and patient care. Denver Health is the Rocky Mountain Region’s Level I academic trauma center, and the safety net hospital for the Denver area. The fellowship encompasses two level one (Detroit Receiving Hospital, Michigan Children’s Hospital) and two level 2 trauma centers (Sinai Grace Hospital and Mclaren Oakland). Fellows will be sent to one national meeting per year of training. The fellows are encouraged to attend the Orthopedic Trauma Association's Annual meeting and one other trauma or fracture related meeting. Vacation. The Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship program provides $1,900 for travel. Research activities are encouraged but not required, and facilitated with a weekly research conference.
