This 2017 Power Wagon brings the similar plastic-fantastic blacked-out fascia that the 2015 RAM Rebel has. The wheelbase is supported by 17-inch forged-aluminium wheels and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires. The interior is completed with the standard kit of “technical grain” seats. The powertrain comes with a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 to put out 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque.

Inside, there is the standard kit includes unique “technical grain” seats with Diesel Gray and Black with fabric inserts embossed with the Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tire-tread pattern. There are heated seats bringing a Power Wagon nameplate on the upper seat bolster, an all-black instrument panel, door armrests, a black headliner, and matching upper pillars.
Moreover, this 2017 Power Wagon, of course, brings the upgraded off-road equipment including the winch, larger tires, locking diffs, suspension, electronic disconnecting anti-roll bar, and under-body protection. The technological features include a spray-in bedliner, LED bed lighting, front and rear park assist, remote start, power-adjustable pedals, rear-view and bed-view cameras, and all those things can be ordered. There is also another unique feature offered which is an optional dual-alternator system combining separate 220- and 160-amp alternators for a hefty 380 amps of total output.
The body looks are not the main point of the Power Wagon. It is good that it brings the similar plastic-fantastic blacked-out fascia that the 2015 RAM Rebel has. There are a gloss-black graphic hood and an optional aft-of-the-cab thick vertical stripe and lettering treatment.
A large RAM logo and Power Wagon decal on the tailgate added with black bezels for the taillights is also added. The front and rear bumpers get the powder-coat treatment. The wheelbase is supported by 17-inch forged-aluminium wheels with matte-black centers and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires.
The 2017 Power Wagon is powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 to put out 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive. The Power Wagon’s 14.3 inches of ground clearance is better than the standard 2500 HD 4×4. The front suspension features Bilstein monotube dampers and an anti-roll bar that can be disconnected to allow greater axle articulation. The disconnecting anti-roll bar can be gained at below the 18-mph speed when in the four-wheel drive and it automatically reconnects at above the 18-mph speed.
Price and Release Date
The 2017 Power Wagon made its debut at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. This RAM’s off-roader goes on sale in the end of this year. Unfortunately, RAM has not released the price yet. So, just wait until this off-roader arrives in dealerships around you.
