PistonCars.com – 2017 Mercedez-Benz SL is a refreshment for its category. Though Mercedez-Benz is well known for the slogan “The Best or Nothing”, this German automobile company did something wrong with the previous Mercedez-Benz 2013 SL. This “Nothing” car is considered to be the awkward type has been made by Mercedez-Benz.
Therefore, this 2017 SL becomes a new generation built to clean up the SL’s look. There are few mechanical updates made for this roadster car to bring back the Mercedez-Benz’s slogan.

However, the are no more operation for its over-sized taillights. The look is nothing more than slightly larger “cosmetic air outlets”but, still this a better look for the car.
There are also significant changes for SL 450 (formerly named the SL400) in its twin-turbocharged V-6 (329 to 362 horsepower). It is also mated to a 9 speed automatic resulting in a factory 0-60 mph time which improves from 5.1 to 4.9 seconds.
The 2017 SL comes with a roof that can be opened and closed at speeds up to 25 mph. Also, there is electrically-powered trunk in it. Inside the cabin, the passengers can switch the red light into white or blue. Another interesting thing is on the available Active Body Control suspension coming with the curve-titling function.
