The new Acadia is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to produce 194 horsepower. The 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6 engine is optional. Both engines are mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive or an optional all-wheel drive. The technological features include infotainment and safety systems such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi Hotspot, automatic emergency braking, and an industry first “rear-seat reminder”.

Inside, the 2017 Acadia serves a classy interior design completed with soft-touch points. The safety features include the GM’s latest safety technology of the Safety Alert Seat in the form of a “rear-seat reminder” which works out to flashes and sounds a warning to check the rear rows when the car is shutting down. Other standard features offered are a surround-view camera, a blind-spot alert, a rear cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping assist.

The 3.6-liter V-6 engine which to put out 310 horsepower of 271 lb-ft of torque is optional. Price and Release Date
The 2017 GMC Acadia made its debut at 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The base prices start from $29,995 (for the Acadia SL) to $46,240 (for the Denali as the highest trim model).
