Powertrain and Performance
The 2017 Escape is powered with a turbocharged 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine. It becomes standard in the SE and Titanium trim levels. This is expected that the EcoBoost put out the power reaching 180 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. The revised 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter Ecoboost engine will be also available. The all engines will be paired with a six-speed automatic.
The performance of the EcoBoost engine is believed to save 4-6% of fuel . the new,upgraded Sync offers the driver to make an easy communication with Escape via a smartphone and work to remote start and locking/unlocking operations. The driver also can schedule future starting times future and check the fuel amount left in the tank.
Price and Release Date
The 2017 Escape made its debut t the 2015 LA Auto Show. The price ranges from $24,495 to $38,315 depending on the model.
